Our Team

Forrest R. Carpenter President / Owner

Forrest has more than 20 years of experience in construction and real estate sales and management. Forrest's meticulous attention to detail, coupled with his honest and sincere personality make for a great fit with client relations. Forrest graduated from IUPUI with an Indiana University degree in Public Health. Forrest was the recipient of the 2007 and 2016 BAGI Johnson County Council Builder of the Year Award, 2021 Home-A-Rama showcase homebuilder, was several times the president of the Johnson County Builders Council, a former member of the board of directors for the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis, as well as a past board member for many years on the Johnson County Builders Council. Forrest enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, fishing, and travelling.

Valerie Perry

Valerie has been a top producing Realtor with Century 21 Scheetz for over a decade. She has sold over a 100 Million in total sales and is among the top agents within the Indiana market.
Valerie has a background in new construction and the two together made a perfect fit to start selling for Custom Homes by Cory. She will be your starting point as you navigate your beginning stages of building until you break ground.

Cory Carpenter

Cory has been designing homes since she got her first Barbie doll house at five! Cory holds a B.S. and M.A. in Education, but her true passion lies in the creative process. Cory has a true eye for design and attention to detail. She is passionate about personalizing space to meet her clients’ needs. Cory doesn’t consider this a job, but rather a luxury to get to be part of creating something beautiful and unique. When Cory is not designing homes, she spends every spare minute of time with her family. Cory enjoys travelling, going to art fairs and antique stores, creating art, baking, attending theater productions, and being a taxi service to her daughter.
